Coming Home to the Body – 3 minute meditation

Breathing in, I arrive in my body. 

Breathing out, I am home.” – 

Thich Nhat Hanh

The Buddhist understanding of compassion means offering patience, kindness, and nonjudgmental understanding to others as well as oneself.

Here is a short meditation to support you in finding deeper levels of self compassion. 

“Breathing in, I arrive in my body. 
Breathing out, I am home.

Breathing in, I am aware of my body.
Breathing out, I smile to my body.

Breathing in, I allow my body to release the tension.
Breathing out, I release the tension in my body.

Breathing in, I arrive in my body. 
Breathing out, I am home”.
