Acts of self-love and self-healing requires commitment and deep listening. It is also a call to take action, to listen to the messages our bodies give us and learn from them and what they might be asking us.
Reiki can support us in achieving optimum health. It can help alleviate symptoms, and relieve pain and discomfort. However for deeper change, Reiki must go hand in hand with a change of consciousness, a willingness to create changes in your lifestyle, in your attitude, in ways of being, so that the healing can be completed and fully integrated.
Being able to use Reiki on yourself for self-healing, is a major benefit of receiving a reiki attunment. Working with the energy of Reiki and bringing it regularly into your system will start to dislodging blockages and obstacles within your energetic system. Deeper and deeper layers of blocked and stagnant energy caused by suppressed, negative and damaging thoughts, emotions, attitudes and beliefs, will start to be released. With the use of Reiki you will find that as you shed old ways of being and patterns you feel lighter, more vital, energetic, more connected to yourself and your highest self.
Put yourself first, give yourself the time to focus on your life, your thoughts, your emotions and your body. Our bodies are always giving us messages, are you listening? What is feeling good in your life and what isn’t? Are there things that you could be changing in your relationships, work, diet, that would bring you into greater well being? Being able to give yourself Reiki each day is a vital part of your own self-healing. Reiki works holistically, it will support your body, mind, emotions and spirit, enhancing your state of harmony and balance. An essential part of self-healing is including a daily self-treatment in your morning or evening routine.
There are about 12, Reiki hand positions that you will be show by your Reiki master, each position is held for 3-5mins, a full treatment can take between 36minutnes to an hour. A self-treatment can be shorter, depending on your time availability and focus of your self-treatment. However it is recommended that your daily Reiki practice be a minimum of 30mins. Giving Reiki to yourself is a loving act, and giving your self loving attention is the greatest gift your can provide yourself.
Reiki for Self-Care Course
Reiki for Self Care 6hr is an initiation into Reiki as a self-healing tool for the divine feminine. Reiki is a system of natural healing and energy medicine that involving the laying-on of hands, and it works with life-force energy. Reiki balances the body, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, enabling the body self-heal. The focus for this training is to provide you with your own personal healing kit. Reiki is a tool that can be used at any moment for on-the-spot stress release, pain relief and as a quick energy boost.
During the course you will be attuned by Liz, Reiki Master Teacher through a sacred initiation; you will be permanently linked to Reiki universal energy. Many students experience physical symptoms of energy in their palms after the first attunement — including tingling, coolness or heat. Following the attunement is a 21 day period called the cleansing period. During this time, you are encouraged to give yourself a treatment every day and many students find themselves undergoing positive personal changes and spiritual growth which can be a very powerful and very rewarding time.
Reiki is one of the few forms of healing modalities that can be used by you to heal you. It is a holistic self-help technique for directing universal life force energy.
Reiki speeds the healing process and provides a source of restoring energy, as well as provide support while a person is ill, under medical treatment or in recovery. It is a pure energy form and when it is combined with the sincere desire or focused intention, a deep level of healing occurs on four levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and this manifests in one’s life as harmony and balance. It does not interfere with conventional medical treatment, but facilitates the overall healing benefits.
