Embodied Nature is a 6-week eco-somatic journey for women who long to reconnect with themselves, each other, and the living Earth. Rooted in body, spirit, and seasonal cycles, this series offers a gentle yet powerful path to reattune your nervous system, awaken your senses, and rediscover deep belonging—through the wisdom of nature and the body.

Each week builds upon the last, guiding you through progressive layers of grounding, emotional alchemy, and renewal. Through eco-somatic movement, mindfulness, Earth rituals, tree yoga, and land-based art, you’ll align with nature’s rhythms while exploring your own inner landscape—emerging more rooted, resilient, and alive.

What is Eco-somatics?

It is the practice and study of how our bodies (soma) are in continuous relationship with the Earth and more-than-human world. It blends principles of somatic awareness (tuning into bodily sensations, emotions, and inner experiences) with ecological consciousness, emphasizing that our well-being is deeply interconnected with the health of the environment.

In eco-somatics, we explore:

  • How the Earth lives in us — through breath, movement, and sensory experience
  • How land, weather, and place shape our nervous systems, identities, and emotions
  • How healing and embodiment can be reciprocal acts with the natural world
  • How your body’s wisdom can guide you in reconnecting with land.

It’s both a healing practice and a relational experience — one that asks us to slow down, listen to the Earth, and move in ways that honour and care for life around us.

Who This Is For

Embodied Nature is for women who are yearning for a deeper, healing connection with nature, themselves, and the sacred web of life. This journey is for you if you:

Week 5: Tending the Emerging Self
After moving through change, tenderly nurture the parts of yourself now taking root. Through land-based art, mindful eco-rituals, and compassionate breathwork, you’ll care for your evolving inner landscape with presence and love.

Week 6: Rooted Renewal – Emerging Vibrant and Connected
Celebrate your transformation and plant new intentions. A closing nature ritual and personal embodiment practice will anchor your journey forward—rooted, cyclical, vibrant, and alive.

About Liz

As a somatic educator deeply rooted in Earth-based healing, I’ve long explored the sacred relationship between body and land. Last year, I offered Earth Body—a beloved course that opened space for many to reconnect with the wisdom of nature through eco somatic practices.
This year, I’m weaving that thread even deeper.
As I continue my studies in eco-therapy, I’ll be offering new pathways for reconnection—where the body meets the Earth in presence and renewal. These circles and practices are grounded in the knowing that the Earth holds space for healing and belonging.
On a personal level, I spent the last six years living in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where my connection to nature has been profoundly enriched. Now, back in Toronto, I’m returning to the place where I first held nature-based circles—High Park in 2016—with renewed reverence and a expanded set of tools to share.
