Spring Emergence: A Ritual Journey for Body & Earth
An Eco-Somatic Guided Experience for Women
As the earth awakens this spring, we are invited to reconnect with its rhythms and with our own bodies in a deep, transformative way. Nature has always been a source of renewal, offering us the space to shed old layers and emerge into a new season of vitality. This 75-minute journey is designed to help you release the stagnation of winter, embrace the fresh energy of spring, and awaken to the profound healing power of the earth through eco-somatic practices.
Join us for a beautiful and grounding experience in High Park on May 4th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. This sacred circle is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, nature, and the collective spirit of renewal that spring brings.
Eco-somatics is the practice and study of how our bodies (soma) are in continuous relationship with the Earth and more-than-human world. It blends principles of somatic awareness (tuning into bodily sensations, emotions, and inner experiences) with ecological consciousness, emphasizing that our well-being is deeply interconnected with nature.
In eco-somatics, we explore:
How the Earth lives in us — through breath, movement, and sensory experience
How land, weather, and place shape our nervous systems, identities, and emotions
How healing and embodiment can be reciprocal acts with the natural world
How our body’s wisdom can guide us in reconnecting with land, ancestors, and collective memory
It’s both a healing practice and a relational experience — one that asks us to slow down, listen to the Earth, and move in ways that honour and care for life around us.
Together through eco-somatic movement, expressive arts, and nature-based rituals.
What you will experience:
Eco-Somatic Grounding to help you tune into your body sensations in connection to the land
Facilitated eco-somatic practices to explore reconnecting body and nature – returning to instinctual, nature-inspired movement.
Nature-Based Expressive Arts to support you in connecting with what is emerging for you this spring.
