1:1 Somatic Healing Movement Sessions for Women Ready to Heal through the Body

Feel to Heal is a one-on-one somatic session that offers you a safe, gentle space to slow down and reconnect with yourself — through the body.

Using trauma-informed somatic practices, mindful movement, breath, and movement exploration, this session supports you in:

  • Releasing stored stress and emotional tension
  • Regulating your nervous system
  • Feeling and processing emotions in a safe, embodied way
  • Restoring a sense of connection, presence, and inner stability

This is a standalone session — a low-pressure, nurturing entry point into body-based healing. Whether you’re new to this work or simply feeling called to reset and reconnect, this session meets you exactly where you are.

In This Session, You May:

  • Release emotions stored in the body
  • Reconnect with physical sensations and signals that may have been ignored or numbed
  • Begin to move through emotional blocks without needing to talk it all out
  • Develop tools for grounding, regulation, and embodied self-support
  • Feel more centered, present, and connected to yourself

This work honors the truth that healing doesn’t always happen through words — but through the body, through movement, through breath.

What to Expect in a Session

Each session is tailored to your needs, your pace, and your lived experience.

We Start with Grounding & Resourcing Practices
You’ll be guided to connect with anchoring practices like your breath and grounding physical sensations, to bring you into the present moment. This supports a sense of safety and helps your system settle into deeper awareness.

Somatic Exploration
We’ll use mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic prompts to help you identify and feel into areas of tension, numbness, or emotion.

Embodied Expression
You’ll be gently guided to follow your body’s natural impulses through intuitive, expressive, or symbolic movement — always at your own pace, with or without music. This is a space to explore and release what’s present in your body. If it feels supportive, we may also include expressive drawing or writing to help process and express what arises. No prior experience with movement or expressive arts is needed — only a willingness to listen inward and stay present with yourself.

Integration & Closing
We take time to reflect, share insights, and gently close the session. You’ll receive optional practices to continue integrating the work on your own.

This Session Is for You If:

  • You feel disconnected from your body and want to rebuild trust in yourself
  • You’re holding emotions that feel hard to talk about or fully feel
  • You’re navigating stress, grief, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm
  • You want a compassionate, embodied way to care for your mental and emotional health
  • You’re curious about how somatic practices can support healing and self-discovery

These Sessions May Not Be the Right Fit If:

While Feel to Heal offers a supportive space for embodied exploration and emotional processing, it is not a substitute for crisis intervention or clinical mental health treatment.

These sessions may not be appropriate for you if:

  • You are currently in acute crisis or experiencing active suicidal thoughts
  • You have a recent or unresolved history of hospitalization for mental health
  • You are living with unmanaged symptoms of severe trauma, dissociation, or psychosis
  • You are looking for clinical psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical advice

If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, I strongly encourage you to reach out to a licensed mental health professional or crisis service in your area. Your safety and wellbeing matter deeply.

These sessions are best suited for individuals who are emotionally stable enough to explore gently, and who feel ready to engage with their body in a supported, but non-clinical, setting.

  • 75 – 90minute private session
  • Offered online via Zoom or in person in downtown Toronto
  • No prior movement or somatic experience needed
